Cedar Crest, Inc.

Conduct religious services and provide sacramental needs of Cedar Crest residents; Contribute to the planning and implementation of Foundation activities to maximize philanthropy efforts to support Cedar Crest

Collaborate with other health care professionals in setting goals for the resident’s care;
Arrange and facilitate denominational and interfaith religious services as appropriate;
Facilitate and support the continuing relationship of the resident with his or her local place of worship and minister;
Provide various religious and spiritual opportunities, which include conducting devotions, Bible study groups, and discussions groups;
Plan and conduct funerals and memorial services;
Help the families, staff, and other residents with appropriate spiritual counseling, guidance and support, especially in times of loss or grief; and,
Expand Foundation activities and philanthropy through major gifts, grateful patient giving, capital campaigns, planned giving, annual giving, and special events.

Direct oversight of single and family life ministries through discipleship programming; Create web and graphic content for the various church ministries

Organize and facilitate church-wide small groups, men’s ministries, recreational activities, and midweek elective ministries;
Provide premarital, marital, and general life counsel;
Lead and develop first impressions teams to assimilate first-time and returning guests into the church body;
Weekly management and production of podcasts, websites, social media, graphics, and visual content;
Oversee, direct, and lead annual Freedom Fest event, which attracts around 20,000 people; and,
Prepare and direct water baptism services.
